YAY!

Hardly had time to blog nowadays. My recent updates would be Final Mock exam is this coming Monday. And, I have classes on Saturday and Sunday. Sunday is the last day of CNY, Chap Goh Mei. See how time flies without notice. Anyhow, MOCK! How to prepare when we are busy celebrating CNY! Oh well.

Just yesterday, my 3 college mates came over to my house (yes, Rawang, they used KTM, too). Wai Keng, Cathy and Siao Ying make efforts to come all the way to my house (just to taste my curry) to bai nian or CNY house visit. I glad they came and sorry to troubled them because it a really hot day plus we have night class as well.

I made curry for them as promised. I can't help but being a bit fussy over the preparation and so on.

And again, thanks for coming guys! :D

Take care of your parents....

A simple man tells how his booking an air ticket for his father, his first flight, brought emotions and made him realize that how much we all take for granted when it comes to our parents.

My parents left for our native place on Thursday and we went to the airport to see them off. In fact, my father had never traveled by air before, so I just took this opportunity to make him experience the same.

In spite of being asked to book tickets by train, I got them tickets on Flight.

The moment I handed over the tickets to him, he was surprised to see that I had booked them by air.
The excitement was very apparent on his face, waiting for the time of travel. Just like a school boy, he was preparing himself on that day and we all went to the airport, right from using the trolley for his luggage, the baggage check-in and asking for window seat and waiting restlessly for the security check-in to happen.

He was thoroughly enjoying himself and I, too, was overcome with joy watching him experience all these things.

As they were about to go in for the security check-in, he walked up to me with tears in his eyes and thanked me. He became very emotional and it was not as if I had done something great but the fact that this meant a great deal to him.

When he said thanks, I told him there was no need to thank me.

But later, thinking about the entire incident, I looked back at my life.

As a child how many dreams our parents have made come true. Without understanding the financial situation, we ask for football, dresses, toys, outings, etc. Irrespective of their affordability, they have satisfied to all our needs. Did we ever think about the sacrifices they had to make to accommodate many of our wishes?

Did we ever say thanks for all that they have done for us?

Same way, today when it comes to our children, we always think that we should put them in a good school. Regardless of the amount of donation, we will ensure that we will have to give the child the best, theme parks, toys, etc. But we tend to forget that our parents have sacrificed a lot for our sake to see us happy, so it is our responsibility to ensure that their dreams are realized and what they failed to see when they were young, it is our responsibility to ensure that they experience all those and their life is complete.

Many times, when my parents had asked me some questions, I have actually answered back without patience. When my daughter asks me something, I have been very polite in answering. Now I realize how they would have felt at those moments.

Let us realize that old age is a second childhood and just as we take care of our children, the same attention and same care need to be given to our parents and elders.

Rather than my dad saying thank you to me, I would want to say sorry for making him wait so long for this small dream. I do realize how much he has sacrificed for my sake and I will do my best to give the best possible attention to all their wishes.

Just because they are old does not mean that they will have to give up everything and keep sacrificing for their grandchildren also. They have wishes, too.

Take care of ur parents.

Flowers

Bonjour.

Today is the last day of this term holiday. Means, after today, it's like a war-like state, where I will begin to be a more zero-social life. Erm, maybe not that hardcore. But yeah, I will not go out with friends or so on, at least until end of my exam. Gotta prepared physically and mentally.

I just returned from Cameroon Highland. The place is really pleasant. Windy in the broadlight and cold in the colourful night. This trip, we literally used our time for food and food only. Why? Because, everywhere also traffic jam. Had irregular time of lunch and dinner, so, first day itself, we spent time inside the car more than normally we should.

Lunch in Cameroon is bad. We went to a restaurant where we normally would go. But since it had been a while after visting that resturant, the restaurant changed owner...means everything also change...include the chef *previous owner is also the head chef, which served us great deal of yummy food*. Not only the service is bad, it took toooo long. What add salt to the wound is the food is bad AND they served another table first, BY RIGHT, we ordered much earlier.

Fast forward. It's dinner time! Ah, the steamboat is good. Really, it's really good. And, really stuffed with the food there. The price is not bad, too. Consider the food and drinks.

Oh yes, right after lunch. We went to a temple. Saw many doggies. Poodle being majority there. Their eyes is bulat, bulat (round) very the cute :D And, snaped some pictures, too.

Koi.

So the next day, went here and there and took many pictures. Especially, I captured some flowers. Oh, they are really beautiful.

Alright, got home pretty late, due to traffic jam. Man, during the time like this, KL have no traffic jam. Anyway, that's all. Thanks for dropping by! :D

BACK TO COLLEGE!

:D

Greetings.

Today is the second day of Chinese New Year. It certainly a great festive season to celebrate. Let’s recap of what I did few days ago. Last Friday, went on to clean and tidy up my room and later that evening, got my hair coloured with burgundy red. It turned out quite okay, just that the colour couldn’t stay; it will slowly be colourless (red-less) with each session of washing the hair. Not a concern, at least.

On Lunar eve or CNY eve whichever you may call, instead of staying at home, went to Sungai Wang and hang around for an hour, before going to Capitol Hotel (I finally realised it was not called Federal Hotel, but it’s one of the Federal Hotel’s branches) for a buffet dinner. Realised something in Sungai Wang, surprise, surprise, indeed.

The buffet was good, really good. There got so many yummy stuffs that I couldn’t resist, people should check it out, for the price is pretty reasonable, it’s in KL, you know? After getting home, I’m so stuffed, excellent! Oh, got many pretty girls, too. A plus, I guess?

Many people played fireworks, and it was lively, well, especially since you won’t be sleeping early, you got fireworks to cheer you up a little. I had literally spent the first and second day of CNY watching movies, playing games and eating! CNY mood 100%!
Well, after this I gotta start working on my body and mentality. Exam is like 2 months plus away, gotta prepare! No more lazy moments!

As for now...Tag!

Put your ten favorite songs by the solo singer/band, write the reason why and challenge others to do the same.

GACKT!
i) Mizerable-the first song that sparked my interest to listen to Gackt’s songs.
ii) Next Decade-oh, who wouldn’t like this song? You’re the Next, Next Decade!
iii) Setsugekka-The End of Silence-This song is so remarkable. Simply amazing.
iv) Stay Alive-Just amazing.
v) Rain-I can say this is one of the best, no question.
vi) Flower-a song that you can really feel.
vii) Kimino Tameni Dekirukoto-good song, really it is. Good melody, good lyrics and what else you can ask?
viii) Megurai-yet another good job from Gackt, literally.
ix) Saikai-Story-man, who cannot feel this emotional song?

Holiday!

Chinese New Year is coming sooooooon! HOHO

From few weeks, my family had been busy buying goods, decorate the house, gardening and cleaning. In fact, we also will be under go some changes, at least my mum and dad coloured their hair.

Well, tomorrow is the Reunion dinner, I bet everyone will try to get back to their hometown as soon as possible, expect the traffic jam and so. But hey, that's the thing we will go through especially during any special season, something like this is pretty like a culture in Malaysia (perhaps elsewhere).

That's it for today. See ya. Happy Holiday! :)
