MLTR is gonna laugh.

http://www.malaysianmirror.com/homedetail/45-home/9692-pas-not-a-fan-of-michael-learns-to-rock

PAS called Michaels Learns to Rock's concert to be banned. And it's so called insult to Muslim during the month of Ramadan

o.O?

What is wrong with PAS?

"We are opposing this concert because holding it does not respect Muslims as it is the fasting month of Ramadan, a time for holiness and cleanliness," PAS youth wing chief Nasrudin Hassan Tantawi told AFP.

Okay, you have your point. BUT what did MLTR did? Did they massacred human beings? Or destroyed cities? or Chew off some helpless animals during a concert? The answer is no. Don't make me laugh la. You're bringing religion into politics which is sensitive issues to all of us.

Look at logic point here. I agreed that some celebrities from the west is, yea, revealing, and so forth. BUT they actually followed the rules laid out by our country. So they actually respected the Muslim.

Correct me if I'm wrong. I did not see any singers wearing short skirts, or revealing here and there when they perform in Malaysia.
So what can a men in a group do to consider bad? They are considered respected band throughout the world.

And,

If you read the article, they said it did not respect Muslims. But they did not said how MLTR disrespected the Muslims. Where is your prove?

Sorry to say but I can't help to empathise, PAS is asking for trouble. Too bad for PAS supporters too. Don't brings religion matter to politics. It's suicidal. This is not going to benefit the country. Religion is to govern our morality.

They describe how the singers corrupt the young generation, but it's not the single factor that makes young generation to behave like uncivilised people. Aren't you indirectly telling people it's easy to get influence? I think some teenagers are strong enough.

What matters the most are the parents should be the role model and gather positive influences from friends. The singer who come and go for just one night, and able to influence everybody? It's so weird that PAS had been against those singers (Avril Lavigne for example), they gonna think Malaysia is so stuck up.

Of course it's true in Economy matters, we are injection the money out of our country. But bear in mind, this is also boycotting the products. What do you think? Don't you think other countries might react against you decision. People might view this decision as political immature.

Borne in mind, I'm not being racist and insulting any Muslims here.

I'm not MLTR fans. Basically didn't even bother why they are here. But this article was such an eyes catcher. Who's supporting PAS to ban MLTR and other singers? .
Furthermore, not every singers are bad influence. Look at Bono itself. That's all about it. It's hilarious enough.

I hope the government would offer an referendum or just ask any NGOs to conduct any research to investigate this matter before considering a ban and show heavy evidences of whether it does influence children. Of course I don't want my children in the future to go for a concert perform by some metal punk or whatever. So, choose a better stand which is reasonable and not daft.

2 what is your thought?:

I totally agree with you there buddy, these political groups shouldnt exist in the first place. They're the one actually putting the invisible line between races, I know my parents are deeply involved with politics. I once said to them the exact same thing, and they didnt reply. Now UMNO are dividing between us Malays too. They blame on everything.

Haha thanks man. Great to know.
I think that Parties should concern about all of the races. This generally creates equity among all. But I can't see this to happen.

One of the negative things about adult, they never listen. That's how.
